Custom wheelset for the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled – built to order on customer hubs

For this Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled, we built a completely custom wheel set – exactly according to the customer's wishes and based on the original wheel hubs. The result is a high-quality, sporty, and impeccably finished wheel set that impresses both visually and technically.

High-quality components for maximum stability

We used Excel rim rings in black, 2.15 x 21 at the front, and 3.50 x 17 at the rear. This is complemented by black spokes, black nipples, and an all-black rim design for a cohesive, modern look.
For decades, Excel rim rings have been among the most robust and precise rims on the market – ideal for Scramblers, Desert Sleds, and all riders who value stability and durability.

Other sizes and tubeless options also available

In addition to this configuration, we can, of course, also offer other wheel sizes or setups. Upon request, we can build the wheels tubeless, for example, with the BARTubeless system or – depending on the setup – with other proven solutions.
This creates a setup that perfectly matches riding style, tire choice, and intended use.

What we need from the customer

For the wheel set to be built precisely, we always need the customer's wheel hubs – and in the following condition:

1. only the wheel hubs (without spoked wheels)
2. without brake discs
3. without sprocket carrier
4. without spacers, so nothing can fall out during shipping
5. with bearings, so everything can be perfectly assembled later

After assembly, we ship the wheels back, ready for installation.
