KTM Super Adventure 1290 & 1390 High-Performance Wheel Set | Excel & HAAN
Set new standards for your KTM Super Adventure 1290 or 1390. Whether you want to equip your adventure enduro for extreme off-road use or are looking for a precise supermoto setup: Our combination of Excel Takasago rim rings and solid, CNC-machined HAAN hubs offers the necessary reserves for maximum power and load.

- Excel Takasago Rim Rings: High-strength 7000 series aluminum alloy, perfect for the Super Adventure's high weight and performance.
- HAAN Hubs: Milled from a block of 6082 T6 aluminum, color anodized and designed for extreme durability.
- High-Performance Spokes: Specially alloyed spokes, up to 30% stronger than the original cast or spoked wheels.
- Plug & Play: The original brake discs and ABS ring of your 1290/1390 can be directly adopted.
- Full Electronics Compatibility: ABS, traction control, and tire pressure sensors (RDC) remain fully functional (RDC excluded with 2.15x21 front wheel).
- Tubeless Option: Available for tubeless operation (BARTUBELESS) – ideal for long-distance travel and street performance.
Configuration Options & Dimensions
Setups specially adapted to the power of the large V2 engines:
- Off-road Set: Maximum stability for hard enduro sections and tours off paved roads.
- Supermoto Conversion: Agile setup in 3.5x17 inches front and 5.5x17 inches rear.
- Individual Design: Hubs, nipples, and rim rings can be combined in various anodized colors.
Important Notes on Approval & Installation
- Custom Made: Since each wheel is manufactured individually according to customer requirements, this item is excluded from the right of withdrawal for private customers.
- The EXCEL rim rings are highly polished and anodized in the visible area, with production-related manufacturing marks in the rim bed being completely covered by tires and rim tape. The weld seam in the outer area can appear more pronounced, especially with gold and blue colors; this does not constitute a defect but is technically unavoidable.
- The rims are marked with a DOT number and can be registered by individual approval, with the final decision resting with the respective expert.
- For customers from Switzerland, a certificate of conformity can be issued, enabling problem-free registration of the wheels.
- Service Option: You want to keep your original hubs? We also offer the spoking service with new Excel rings and reinforced spokes on your existing hubs.
