Supermoto Wheel Set BMW R1300GS – Excel & HAAN Custom

Transform your BMW R1300GS into a purebred riding machine. Our Supermoto wheel set combines the legendary Excel Takasago rim rings with high-precision HAAN hubs. The result: significantly more agile handling, brutal looks, and maximum stability for sporty performance on asphalt.
Your Configuration Options
We manufacture your wheel set individually according to your color preferences:
- Rim rings: Excel Takasago (7000 series alloy) in 3.5x17" (front) and 5.5x17" (rear). Color anodized as desired.
- Hubs: HAAN Performance, CNC-machined from solid block (6082-T6 aluminum), color anodized.
- Spokes: High-strength stainless steel – up to 30% stronger than stock.
- Nipples: Optionally made of robust steel or color-anodized aluminum for the perfect finish.
Technical Highlights & Advantages
- True Supermoto Feeling: By switching to 17 inches front and rear, your GS gains massively in agility and precision in corners.
- Plug & Play: Your original brake discs can continue to be used directly.
- Full System Integration: ABS, traction control, and RDC sensors (tire pressure monitoring) remain fully functional.
- Special Components: An ABS ring precisely adapted to the 17" wheel set is included to perfectly calibrate the electronics.
- Tubeless-Ready: All wheel sets are supplied in a tubeless version.
Exclusive Accessories (Optional)
To match the conversion, we offer a carbon front fender. This comes including a specially developed bracket and optically integrates perfectly into the lines of the R1300GS. (Note: The fender is only available in conjunction with a wheel set.)
Important Information & Notes
- Custom-made: Since each wheel is manufactured individually according to customer requirements, this item is excluded from the right of withdrawal for private customers.
- The EXCEL rim rings are highly polished and anodized in the visible area, with production-related manufacturing marks in the rim well being completely covered by tires and rim tape. The weld seam in the outer area can be more prominent, especially with the colors gold and blue; this does not constitute a defect but is technically unavoidable.
- The rims are marked with a DOT number and can be registered by individual acceptance, with the final decision resting with the respective expert.
- For customers from Switzerland, a certificate of conformity can be issued, enabling hassle-free registration of the wheels.
- Service Option: You want to keep your original hubs? We also offer a lacing service with new Excel rings and reinforced spokes on your existing hubs.
